Background and Early Influences
Sean Bradrick is an American poet and practitioner of Sanatana Dharma, residing in Omaha, Nebraska. His introduction to Eastern religion and philosophy began at the age of twelve, influenced by his father. This early exposure led him to explore various esoteric systems and classical texts from Indian and Chinese philosophical and medical traditions.

Education and Teaching Career
In adulthood, Bradrick became a teacher specializing in meditation practices, including Samkhya darshana, buddhi yoga, Tai Chi, and Qigong. He furthered his education in Ayurveda through The American Institute of Vedic Studies. His teaching career reflects a deep commitment to integrating these diverse teachings into practical applications.

Practice in Ayurvedic Medicine
Bradrick has applied his knowledge in various healthcare settings, including brain injury units, bariatric units, homes for the elderly, mental health facilities, addiction recovery centers, veteran hospitals, and hospice care facilities. His work emphasizes the holistic approach of Ayurvedic medicine and psychology.

Philosophical Studies
He pursued formal studies in Hinduism Shastra and Vedic hymns with Harvard and the University of Nebraska but found more authentic teachings through experiences in ashrams and temples as well as from his guru’s lineage. His educational journey included mentorship from multiple Acharyas (Vedic scholars), with significant influences from Vamadeva Shastriji (David Frawley) and Dharma Pravartaka Acharya of the International Sanatana Dharma Society.

Literary Contributions
Bradrick is also an author; one notable work is A Hindu’s Guide to Advocacy and Activism. Through this book and 20+ published articles, he aims to articulate the principles of the Yoga-Veda Dharma while advocating for its understanding in a contemporary context. Upcoming books include Awakening the Hindu Mind and Meditation for Mental Health: A Path to Clarity.

Personal Philosophy on Hindu Identity
Bradrick identifies as an American Veda & Yoga Dharmi, recognizing that not every Dharmi is a Hindu and that not every Hindu is a Dharmi. He articulates a perspective that encourages pride among practitioners of all faiths and Dharmas, along with inclusivity and respect for both the beautiful similarities and differences between them.

In summary, Sean Bradrick embodies a multifaceted approach to spirituality that combines teaching, practice in Ayurvedic medicine, literary contributions, and advocacy for a deeper understanding of Hindu and other Eastern cultures.
